Summary of the General Terms

  • The payment is in Euros (€) and will be carried out via PayPal or direct bank transfer.

  • You may request a cancellation before we have started the commission.

  • Contact us via email with short descriptions or references of your ideas.

+ Payment

The Artist requires all payment after the approval of the sketch.

The payment is carried out with PayPal, so we will request your PayPal email adress.

We use this adress to send you an invoice

A PayPal fee may be added depending on where you live. Should you have a German bank account, a direct bank transfer is possible and there will be no extra PayPal fee

+ Currency

All prices are expressed in € (EUR).

The amount will automatically be converted to EUR, in case the Client uses a different currency.

+ Cancellation / Refunds

Refunds may only be issued if the Client notifies the Artist prior to starting the Commission

No refunds will be issued after the drawing has been started

In case the Terms of Service are breached the Artist has the right to revoke access to, and stop work of, the Commission at any time after start of work.

+ How to contact us

Feel free to use our emails: raidesart@gmail.com / leffiesart@gmail.com. For convenience, you can also include the following information in your email:

  • The type of Commission you are interested in (Portrait, Half-Body, Full-Body, Landscape or Character Sheet)
  • A short description of the character(s) / landscape
  • If any, a list of your preferences: resolution, expressions, etc
  • References of the character(s) or, if applicable, references of similar landscapes
  • The date of the deadline if the commission has to be ready on a specific date. Please note that a rush fee may be applied in case the commission needs to be finished within 5 days.
 

Rights

 

Summary of the rights

Client’s rights:

  • The commission will be provided in full-resolution and a high quality file format (e.g. PNG)

  • The client may request a preview of the commission at any given point

  • The client may publish the commission on social media if the artist is credited

Artist right’s:

  • The artist is allowed to cancel the commission due to disruptive communication

  • The artist won’t draw NSFW or provocative content

  • A rush fee may be applied if the commission has a close deadline

  • The artist retains all rights on the piece

+ The client's rights

1) The Commission will be provided to the Client via email or an online download location in .jpeg and .png format; this does not include the native files (e.g., .ptg, .tif etc.), unless agreed upon prior, or thereafter, the Client obtains written permission from the Artist.

2) The Client may request a preview of the Commission at any time during the creation process.

3) The Client may display the Commission in profiles as long as the Artist’s name (e.g. "Raide" and / or "Raidesart”) is prominently displayed along with a link or mention to the Artist's social media accounts

4) The Client must obtain written permission from the Artist prior to displaying the Commission in a Public Space.

5) Under no circumstances may the Client submit a Commission to any kind of contest.

6) The Client may not distribute, reproduce, or otherwise profit from the Commission, unless it applies to new Terms of Service agreed upon in a Commercial Purpose Commission Agreement.

7) The client may not edit, alter, or trace the Commission without the Artist’s expressed, written permission, or as agreed upon in the Commission Agreement prior to start of work.

+ The artist's rights

1) The Artist has the right to refuse any Commission request, without needing to explain the reason.

2) The Artist reserves the right to stop work on a Commission, or cancel a Commission request due to poor communication, rude / inappropriate behaviour, an inability to effectively communicate in the English or German language, or a breach any of these Terms of Service.

3) The Artist will not create any depiction of sexually explicit (i.e., “NSFW”: pornographic or fetish driven) materials, or any form of hateful or racist imagery.

4) By commissioning the Artist, the Client is purchasing the Artist’s labour only. The Artist retains all rights to the Commission, which includes but is not limited to: Distribution, reproduction, use of the Commission for Artist promotion (e.g. social media, personal space, public space, etc.); or as it applies to new Terms of Service agreed upon in a Commercial Purpose Commission Agreement.

5) The Client must specify the content of their Commission to the best of their ability prior to a Commission Agreement. A Commission may incur additional illustration fees, to be defined and agreed upon prior to start of work.

6) If the Commission is time-sensitive, a rush fee may be applied, to be defined and agreed upon prior to start of work.

7) If the Commission is defined as confidential, the Artist will temporarily delay public display of the image at the request of the Client and as defined in the Commission Agreement until such time the Commission Agreement specifies public display is permitted. A Client may not request the Artist to complete a Commission without defining the timespan to eventually allow the Artist to publicly display the image.
